He made the claim on his podcast as he prepares to return at UFC 324.

His coach reportedly noticed quicker recovery and sharper focus after the treatments.

Those compounds are described as short amino acid chains with possible healing effects, but scientific evidence remains limited and several are banned by anti-doping authorities.

For now, use appears to be governed by what is listed by Drug Free Sports International, and the promotion’s performance institute has provided other medical therapies in the past.
