Pague wins welterweight title in overtime

    Dustin Pague toppled Julian Lane to capture the BKFC Welterweight title at BKFC 86 on Jan. 17, 2026, in Uncasville, Connecticut.

    Judges scored the scheduled five rounds even, forcing an extra sudden-death round to determine the winner.

    The overtime was competitive and reportedly swung in Pagueโ€™s favor after a decisive late strike in the closing seconds.

    Pague, a former UFC fighter, is now the new BKFC welterweight champion and extends a reported winning streak in the promotion.

    BKFC president David Feldman is said to be pushing for an immediate rematch between the two.
