Kim Taekyun Faces Tough Challenge
In a recent event, Kirghizstan fighters dominated the featherweight division in Japan and South Korea. Mikuru Asakura suffered a swift defeat to Kyrgyzstani fighter Razhabali Shaydulaev at the RIZIN year-end event on October 31, ending in a TKO.
Shaydulaev maintains an undefeated record and is considered a promising fighter for larger stages like the UFC. Meanwhile, Uruzkelti Duisheev, another emerging fighter from Kyrgyzstan, captured the Road FC featherweight title earlier in the month.
Adilet Nurmatov, also from Kyrgyzstan, is set to face Kim Taekyun at Black Combat's upcoming event. With Nurmatov boasting a strong record, Kim stands as one of the last barriers against the Kyrgyzstani surge in East Asian MMA.
