Korean MMA Team Heads to China for Asian Championships

The Korean MMA team has departed for China to secure a spot in the upcoming Asian Games.

Departing from Incheon Airport, the team will participate in the Asian MMA Championships in Luzhou from November 9th to 11th.

This event doubles as a qualifier for the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, organized by the Asian MMA Association under the OCA.

Led by Kim Geum-cheon, the team includes promising male fighters and experienced female competitor Lee Bo-mi, who has a strong chance of medaling.

The delegation also includes judges aiming to elevate Korea's influence in the sport internationally.
