Kim Jae-woong to Defend Bantamweight Title Against Takenaka

Kim Jae-woong is set to defend his bantamweight title on December 31 at Black Combat 16: Exodus in Incheon.

After moving to featherweight for a recent fight, he returns to bantamweight to face Daichi Takenaka from Japan.

Their fight was originally planned for last year but was canceled due to personal reasons on Kim's side.

Takenaka secured his contender status by defeating a replacement opponent with a first-round submission.

Kim's last bout ended in a no contest after his opponent failed to make weight, despite Kim being knocked out.
