Steveson to Fight Lezama in Mexico

Gable Steveson is set to face Hugo Lezama in an MMA bout in Monterrey, Mexico, according to the promotion. The fight is scheduled for February 19 at Mexico Fight League 3, which will be streamed on YouTube.

Steveson, a young heavyweight prospect, boasts an undefeated MMA record of 2-0 with both wins by knockout in just over two minutes combined. He has also excelled in wrestling, being the youngest American Olympic gold medalist and a two-time NCAA champion.

Lezama, nicknamed "Pandemonium," has an 11-3 professional record, including a recent successful title defense in November 2024. The Mexican fighter has achieved nine of his victories by stoppage.
