Pimblett declines April return for Topuria

    Paddy Pimblett says he will not meet Ilia Topuriaโ€™s proposed April return window.

    Pimblett is booked against Justin Gaethje at UFC 324 on Jan. 24 and says a quick turnaround would be unrealistic if he wins the interim lightweight strap.

    He reportedly expects any clash with Topuria to happen in June or July rather than in April.

    Pimblett also suggested he could be elevated to undisputed status if the champion remains sidelined into midsummer.
