Poirier embraces Peptide Papi persona

Retired lightweight Dustin Poirier has adopted a new gym-focused identity, referring to himself as Peptide Papi while adjusting to life after the fight game.

He stepped away in July 2025 after losing to Max Holloway and has since been training at a home facility he calls the Silly Goose Fitness Club.

Poirier has bulked up to about 187 pounds and reportedly said he likely would not pass a USADA drug test in his current condition, sparking talk about peptides.

Sources say he is lifting five to six days a week and enjoying being free from the demands of cutting to 155 pounds.

He has also reportedly spent time pursuing short-term sobriety as part of his post-retirement routine.
