Nunes reacts to Harrison withdrawal

Amanda Nunes has issued a response after Kayla Harrison was removed from the UFC 324 co-main event due to a neck injury that reportedly required surgery.

The card is set for Jan. 24, 2026 in Las Vegas and the late change has left the event in flux.

Nunes said her preparation went exactly as planned and expressed disappointment at the turn of events.

She reportedly ruled out accepting an interim title or taking a short-notice replacement, saying she will only pursue the undisputed belt unless the title is vacated.

Nunes added she is training and waiting to see what the promotion decides next.
