Usyk in contact with Dana White

    Team Usyk has reportedly made initial contact with UFC boss Dana White, the fighter's camp says.

    Usyk's team director, Sergey Lapin, indicated there is active dialogue and some level of interest but that the particulars are not public.

    White's new boxing venture is due to debut this week, and signing a marquee heavyweight would significantly raise its profile.

    Usyk, unbeaten and inactive since summer 2025, is said to be among the heavyweight options being discussed for a big-return fight.

    Any deal is reportedly dependent on timing, format and money, and will be announced once finalized.
