Gaethje says headliner received no pay bump under new broadcast deal
Justin Gaethje, the headliner for UFC 324, says he has not received any extra pay tied to the promotionโs new multibillion-dollar broadcast agreement.
The deal, reported at $7.7 billion, is set to begin with the Jan. 24, 2026 event in Las Vegas.
Gaethje reportedly told media during fight week that his pay remains the same because he is still competing under a pre-deal contract.
That claim appears at odds with public comments from commentator Daniel Cormier and hints from promotion leadership that fighter pay or bonuses would increase.
Sources say Gaethjeโs situation raises questions about how, or when, additional broadcast revenue will trickle down to athletes.
