Gaethje says pay unchanged after $7.7B broadcast deal

Justin Gaethje said Wednesday he has not seen his compensation rise following the UFC's $7.7 billion CBS-Paramount broadcast agreement, according to reports.

He noted that despite holding the UFC record for 14 Fight Night bonuses, those payouts alone have not pushed him to seven figures.

Gaethje made the comments ahead of his interim lightweight bout with Paddy Pimblett at UFC 324.

While commentators and UFC officials have suggested the new media deal could translate to higher fighter pay, Gaethje says he has not received any additional money so far, reportedly.
