White unsure on bonus amounts ahead of event

Dana White told reporters on Jan. 23 that the promotion has not settled on the new fight-night bonus amounts, speaking two days before the card.

He had earlier said bonuses would rise after the reported $7.7 billion broadcast deal, but exact figures remain unsettled.

At the press gathering one fighter floated a six-figure sum and another indicated they'd push for Fight of the Night if pay increased.

White laughed off a request for a number and left the matter open, with sources indicating final approval may come from new executives rather than him.
