Smotherman faints at weigh-ins

Cameron Smotherman reportedly fainted after stepping off the scale at the UFC 324 weigh-ins in Las Vegas on Friday.

He had made the bantamweight limit but collapsed, received immediate medical attention and was carried off the stage.

Organizers later pulled his scheduled bout with Ricky Turcios from Saturday’s card, and the UFC medical team reportedly said scans came back clear and he was released after receiving treatment.
