Smotherman OK after UFC 324 weigh-in collapse

At the UFC 324 official weigh-ins on Friday, bantamweight Cameron Smotherman collapsed after stepping off the scale.

He was immobilized on stage before being assisted by his team and, according to reports, taken to a nearby hospital.

Hours later he posted on Instagram that he is doing well, that the cause is unclear and that he will undergo further testing.

His scheduled preliminary fight with Ricky Turcios was removed from the card after the incident.
