Pessanha defeats Galvao; Pato and Dalpra win IBJJF Euros gold

At the 2026 IBJJF European Championships in Lisbon this weekend, Gabi Pessanha reportedly defeated Sarah Galvao in the Absolute final after both had won their weight divisions.

Diego Pato and Tainan Dalpra each claimed gold at light-feather and middleweight as they begin their 2026 campaigns.

Jalen Fonacier reportedly submitted every opponent to take roosterweight, while Kennedy Maciel edged Cole Abate for featherweight honors.

Cassia Moura and Ashlee Funegra also captured titles on the women’s side, and veterans Bibiano Fernandes and Jussier Formiga won Masters gold in their age divisions.
