Tsarukyan slams Pimblett, eyes Gaethje

Arman Tsarukyan publicly dismissed Paddy Pimblett's place in the UFC 324 main event after watching the card on Jan. 25, 2026.

He reportedly said Pimblett did not merit that opportunity and downplayed the British fighter's standing in the lightweight ranks.

Tsarukyan also questioned Justin Gaethje's performance, suggesting the veteran appeared past his best and vulnerable.

The lightweight said he would like a fight with Gaethje and sketched an alternate title-picture scenario involving Ilia Topuria.

Those comments came in the aftermath of Gaethje's unanimous decision win at UFC 324 and are being discussed as contenders reposition themselves in the division.
