Nurmagomedov won't press for title shot
Umar Nurmagomedov said after UFC 324 that he will not push for an immediate title shot following a unanimous decision over Deiveson Figueiredo.
He reportedly prefers to stay active and build another title opportunity through frequent fights rather than demand one right away.
Figueiredo is said to have missed weight for the prelim bout that closed the card.
Nurmagomedov indicated he plans to keep taking fights instead of waiting on the sidelines for a belt chance.
The bantamweight picture is reportedly getting crowded with multiple contenders staking claims to the next title opportunity.
