Perez seeks new UFC deal after win despite missing weight
At UFC 324 in Las Vegas on Jan. 27, 2026, Alex Perez stopped Charles Johnson early on the prelim card with a TKO.
Perez reportedly missed the flyweight limit by 2.5 pounds and was therefore ineligible for the promotion's new post-fight bonus and finish payout programs.
The victory was reportedly the final bout on his current contract, and he is said to be pursuing a new deal with the promotion.
