Chandler vows to lead UFC White House card

Michael Chandler says he will ensure he is the standout performer on the planned UFC White House card, speaking around Jan. 27, 2026.

He still wants a fight with Conor McGregor, but that matchup looks unlikely after UFC chief Dana White reportedly rejected staging McGregor vs. Chandler at the White House this summer.

Chandler, 39, has had limited activity and a three-fight losing skid, yet he says he will accept whichever opponent is booked and will aim to command the spotlight.

McGregor has not competed since July 2021 and has raised contract questions tied to the promotion's shift away from pay-per-view, a factor that could complicate a meeting.

Matchmaking for the White House card reportedly began Jan. 26, and Chandler says he expects to be involved even if the McGregor bout does not come together.
