Sterling questions O'Malley-Song decision

    Aljamain Sterling voiced confusion over the judges' scorecards following the UFC 324 co-main event.

    Sean O'Malley reportedly took a decision over Song Yadong Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

    Sterling pointed to the opening round, saying O'Malley landed slightly more strikes but Song secured a late takedown that he believed should have carried more weight.

    He argued that in such a close frame the takedown could have acted as the tiebreaker and shifted the round to Song.

    Sterling reportedly agreed with the scoring of Rounds 2 and 3 but called Round 1 the primary point of contention.
