Lucindo accepts nine-month suspension
Iasmin Lucindo has accepted a nine-month suspension after an out-of-competition test reportedly detected a banned steroid, CSAD said Wednesday.
The 24-year-old's sample, collected in Brazil on Sept. 24, 2025, reportedly showed the presence of mesterolone.
The penalty is retroactive to the sample date and is set to expire on June 24, 2026.
She was removed from a scheduled Dec. 13, 2025 fight against Gillian Robertson after the result emerged.
CSAD said she cooperated and investigators believe a contaminated supplement likely caused the low-level finding, according to sources.
Lucindo last competed on Aug. 9, 2025, returning a decision victory.
