Masvidal says Topuria will end Gaethje's career

    Following UFC 324 on Jan. 28, 2026, Jorge Masvidal said he believes Ilia Topuria would force Justin Gaethje into retirement if they met in the cage.

    Gaethje claimed the interim lightweight title at UFC 324, while Topuria holds the undisputed lightweight belt after three consecutive knockout wins.

    Masvidal argued Topuria outclasses both Gaethje and Paddy Pimblett across multiple areas and predicted a rapid finish should a Topuria-Gaethje matchup happen.

    A lightweight unification bout between Topuria and Gaethje is reportedly being discussed.
