Pimblett advised to take five to six year break

Following a lopsided loss to Justin Gaethje at UFC 324 in Las Vegas last weekend, Paddy Pimblett is reportedly dealing with significant head trauma.

No. 2 lightweight Arman Tsarukyan has suggested Pimblett should step away from competition for five to six years to protect his long-term health.

Tsarukyan made the remarks on Ariel Helwaniโ€™s program, describing the damage as severe and recommending an extended recovery period.

Gaethje earned the interim lightweight title with the victory and is expected to face Ilia Topuria in a unification bout later this year, a matchup some reports say could have included Tsarukyan.

Tsarukyan is scheduled to return at RAF06 while he waits for his next UFC opportunity.
