Kayla Harrison has shared a photo revealing a large scar on her neck following recent surgery.

The 35-year-old, a 19-1 pro and the current UFC women’s bantamweight champion, reportedly had the operation to ease severe pain ahead of a rescheduled title bout with Amanda Nunes.

Harrison posted an update on Jan. 29, 2026, saying her comeback process has begun and she hopes to return to competition.

According to sources, she is expected to be fit to fight within roughly six months, though that timeline is still being discussed.
