Chimaev confronts fighter after near brawl

During Thursday's Fitbox Fighting Championship press event in Oman, Dzhokhar Dushuev and Anthony Zeidan were involved in a near altercation.

After they were separated, Khamzat Chimaev approached Zeidan and reportedly confronted him while several people surrounded the pair to prevent escalation.

No further physicality followed as Zeidan appeared to stay composed and staff kept the situation calm.

Dushuev and Zeidan are scheduled to meet in the welterweight main event of FFC 5 this Friday in Muscat, Oman.

Chimaev has been linked to other off-cage incidents and is reportedly still waiting for his next official bout.
