    Road FC

ROAD Fighting Championship (ROAD FC) is a South Korean mixed martial arts (MMA) organization founded by former MMA fighter and businessman Jeong Moon-hong. It was launched with the goal of pioneering the Asian-centered MMA market, and is considered the first organization in Korea to have a regular MMA league system. ROAD FC grew rapidly based on the philosophy of "building the MMA infrastructure in South Korea and providing a foundation for skilled Asian fighters to advance to the world stage," and led the domestic MMA boom in the early to mid-2010s. It secured a fan base through traditional ring formats, aggressive rule management, and a system for discovering young, up-and-coming players (ROAD FC Central League), and greatly increased its public awareness through collaborations with domestic terrestrial and cable broadcasting stations.
